Legendary Spartak Moscow midfielder and Melbourne Olympic Champion Aleksey Paramonov was awarded with certificate of honour of President of Russia.

93-year old Aleksey Paramonov received this certificate and a breastplate 'For the merits in sports development and long-time conscionable work' from Sports Minister of Russia Pavel Kolobkov.

Paramonov played for Spartak Moscow for 13 seasons in which he had 302 games and scored 73 goals. He became four-time champion of USSR, two-time champion of USSR Cup and two-time finalist of this tournament, two-time vice-champion of USSR and won bronze medals of USSR League thrice. Paramonov became an Olympic Champion in 1956 with National Team. He also became National Spartakiada winner in 1956 as Moscow Team member.
