We will play our first friendly game later today, as part of the third pre-season tour in Turkey. Spartak will face Maribor, who are currently sit top of the table in Slovenia.

The last time we faced Maribor was in 2017, during the Champions League group stages. Both legs ended up in a 1-1 draw, with Spartak being a matter of minutes away from a home win.

The players still held a training session in the morning. Those who will play a part in the game later today have finished up earlier, while the others stayed behind for a full intensive session which was wrapped up with a mock patch.
