Mikhail Butkovsky joins Spartak's medical staff
Spartak's Medical Department is now sporting a new face: Mikhail Butkovsky has joined the Club as the first team leading specialist. He will assume his position mid-June, when the main squad returns for pre-season.

The 38-year-old doctor has graduated from Sechenov's University, where he has also got his PhD, having earlier received a degree at University of State Management.

Butkovsky has worked as an anesthesiologist and rehab specialist in one of the Moscow hospitals for over ten years, and joined the Russia's national football team set-up in 2014. This is where he is currently at, overseeing the team's preparation for the upcoming Euro-2020 qualifiers against San-Marino and Cyprus.

Mikhail will replace Andrey Bagdasaryan in our medical set-up. We would like to take a moment to thank Andrey for his years of dedicated work at the Club and wish him all the best for the future.
