We are pleased to announce the signing of 21 year-old midfielder Danil Prutsev from Krylia Sovetov Samara. A Russian youth international, Prutsev has signed a contract that will last until the summer of 2026.
Born in the Kuban region, Danil spent several years at the Krasnodar academy before moving to play for Moscow-based Chertanovo. After winning several titles at youth and senior level for the club, Prutsev signed for Krylia Sovetov. At this stage of his career, he won the Russian second division and had a brief spell at Premier Liga outfit FC Sochi.
A versatile central midfielder, Danil is especially proficient defensively, and has some of the best figures in the league when it comes to tackles and pressures. He also possesses good technique, and is a skilled ball carrier.
The youngster has already arrived at our training camp in Dubai, and is training with the rest of the team. At Spartak, he'll be wearing number 25.
Here's what he had to say about his transfer: "I am very happy to move to a team like Spartak. This is a big step in my career. I'm well acquainted with many players here because we are teammates in the Russian youth team. Plus, Nail Umyarov and myself have been playing together since we were kids, he's been helping me adapt at the club. I was given a warm welcome by the team, so I'm very happy. I dream of winning as many trophies as possible with Spartak!"
