Spartak Moscow x Earth Hour
The 'Earth Hour' is an important international event held annually by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). For many years now, the last Saturday of March is a special day for our planet.

Today, the FC SpartakMoscow, the Otkrytie Arena and the SPARTAK for Kids Foundation have joined a significant campaign in support of the Earth’s ecology.

As a sign of concern for the future of the planet, we 'darkened' the covers of our social media channels and turned off the lights at the Otkrytie Arena from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. And the Red-Whites players, led by Captain Georgy Dzhikiya, appealed to the fans with a call to make our common home better.

Now, when humanity is faced with a large-scale pandemic, and football and other entertainment are off the grid, the topic of health, caring for each other and for the environment around us is a timely one.

Let's do our best together to save our planet for future generations!
